Home Picture Viewing Suggestions
In this site we have used the largest photo sizes that are practical on a web page. They will each take a moment to load, especially if you are using a dial-up connection. Please be patient.
The Picture-of-the-Day changes daily. The change is made either late in the evening or first thing in the morning (sometimes second thing if Greg forgets). We suggest bookmarking the page (adding it to your favorites), and taking a relaxing "Door County break" during your daily on-line activities.
If we are out of town for a few days (probably taking more pictures), we will post a return date on the Picture-of-the-Day page.
Please do not judge the technical quality of our photos by what you see here. In order to facilitate transmission over the internet, the copies of the photos shown on this site are greatly reduced in size and highly compressed. They display well enough on your monitor, but attempting to print them will yield very poor results.
