Ordering Prints of the Pictures
Signed, made-to-order prints are available at moderate cost for any picture that you see on this web site, including the Picture-of-the-Day. Our photos are identified by number, so when you see a picture that you particularly like, simply jot down the photo ID number located just below it.
Our photo images are cropped to enhance the composition, not to fit a particular standard size, and they generally do not fit store-bought mats. As a result, we custom mat all of our prints. The outer dimensions of the mat boards are regular sizes, and they drop right into attractive standard frames that you can buy in most department or craft stores.
You can choose from five mat board colors or white. Click here to see color swatches.
You can order your print in one of four sizes:
Small. The length of the longest dimension of the image is 7 inches. The other dimension varies depending on the image proportions, but is usually around 5 inches. The picture is mounted and matted to fit a standard 8 by 10 inch frame. Price - $21.50
Medium. The length of the longest dimension of the image is 10 inches. The other dimension varies depending on the image proportions, but is usually around 8 inches. The picture is mounted and matted to fit a standard 11 by 14 inch frame. Price - $34.50
Large. The length of the longest dimension of the image is 14 inches. The other dimension varies depending on the image proportions, but is usually around 11 inches. The picture is mounted and matted to fit a standard 16 by 20 inch frame. Price - $64.50
Extra Large. The length of the smallest dimension is 12 inches. The other dimension varies depending on the image proportions, but is usually around 15 - 18 inches. The picture is mounted and matted to fit a standard 18 by 24 inch frame. Price - $85.00
In a very few instances, a picture with unusual proprtions may require some departure from the above. We will discuss this with you via e-mail before proceeding.
TO ORDER:
Simply e-mail us at greg@nelcomp.com. In your message, tell us the ID number of the picture you want, the size print you want us to make, and the desired mat board color. Also be sure to give us your mailing address.When we receive your e-mail message, we will calculate the total amount of your order and e-mail you with payment instructions within one business day. Shipping charges of $5.00 per order will be included. For Illinois orders we will also include 8.75% state and local sales tax. Payment can be made with a personal check or money order. You can also pay with a credit card using the PayPal on-line payment service.
We will make your print to order as soon as payment is received or we are notified of payment by PayPal. Your print will be carefully packaged and shipped via Priority Mail. We will e-mail you with a tracking number upon shipment. Please allow a total of one week for us to do our work and for the postal service to do theirs.
Your satisfaction with your print is very important to us! If you are not entirely happy with your order, please return it to us within 30 days for a full refund.
